MacFreelance is essentially an easy-to-use invoicing and billing software designed specifically for Macs. It allows you to easily add new clients, monitor time spent on projects, track mileage and payments, use international formatting, generate reports for record keeping, and more. You can print or email customizable invoices and even add your own logo for a really professional look.

MacFreelance allows a great deal of tweaking and customization within these areas. For example, you can add fixed or timed charges and bill in hours, minutes, days, weeks or months. For those that work with international clients, you can manage international customers using different currencies and generate reports for saving in PDF format. MacFreelance also integrates all of your important appointments with Address Book, iCal & Spotlight.
What we really liked about MacFreelance is that when you start it for the first time, it runs through a setup wizard which allows you to setup a profile for yourself as a freelance worker. This then saves a lot of hassle when it comes to calculating different variables according to different clients. However, there are so many different customization features within MacFreelance's preferences that it can get a bit overwhelming after that.
Overall, MacFreelance is a well designed and comprehensive tool for freelancers that will take a lot of pain out of administrative duties.
